A good suggestion is ask an expert photographer to take picture of your pet. Usually photographer are more experience taking picture even if the subject is moving, surely the picture puzzle that you are collecting will come into an end in having a single photo with complete body parts of your dog.
You will want to make sure your camera has fresh batteries. Be sure to have your Family Photographer CF card ready to go if you are using a digital camera. In a standard camera, make sure you have fresh film. As for the film, make sure it is at a constant temperature. You do not want it lying around for several years, then dig it out of the trunk of your car and expect great results. To always be ready, keep a disposable camera in the diaper bag to catch the photo opportunity while you are running around with your precious bundle.

Auto mode lets you focus on your subject and makes all the decisions for you. Great for everyday pictures in normal light and motion situations. The P program is a more advanced Auto mode with the addition of advanced exposure compensation. The AV aperture priority mode allows you to isolate your subject or, in the alternative, to add clarity to your entire picture. The camera chooses shutter speed on the AV setting.
